FOUNDER, Vinyasa & Restorative Yoga Teacher, RYT 500
LMT, Corrective & Neuromuscular Massage
Specializing in Cross-Fiber Friction, Myofascial Release, Assisted Stretching.I practice yoga through the lens of the eight-limb path, with a strong emphasis on autonomy, self-inquiry, and creating a safe container where students can explore connection to themselves in a way that feels supportive and empowering. My teaching is informed by my background in corrective muscle therapy, myofascial release, and cross-fiber work, with a deep respect for how the nervous system, body, and breath work together.
Yoga gave me mobility back after years of neglect had slowly taken it away. Through consistent practice, I found not just strength and stability, but alignment with atman, my true self, and a deeper sense of belonging within community. Yoga became a way of returning to myself while staying connected to others.
I founded Moksha Yoga and Embodiment Arts to create a welcoming, inclusive space where people can reclaim parts of themselves they want back and move toward who they feel called to become. The vision you hold for yourself is not a fantasy. It is a possibility, and this practice is one way to begin living into it.

Restorative Yoga and Vinyasa Yoga Teacher RYT 500
I’m a holistic teacher who specializes in women’s health yoga classes. In all of my offerings, I create spaces where students feel supported, nurtured, and held. I’ve even been called an origami-blanket wizard for the way I set up props and comfort. Whether we’re flowing or resting, I guide students to move, breathe, feel embodied, and give their nervous systems a chance to soften and settle. My intention is always to help students feel grounded and spacious, both in their bodies and within themselves.I began practicing yoga in 2012, initially drawn to the physical aspect, but it was the mental and emotional transformation that kept me returning to the mat. Yoga helped me ease stress, soothe anxiety, and regulate my hormones—experiences that deeply shape how I support my students. My classes invite you to slow down, tune in, listen inward, and reconnect with your own inner landscape.
As an experienced RYT500 teacher, my training spans Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and prenatal/postnatal yoga over the past decade. This varied training guides my approach to both movement and stillness. In my vinyasa classes, I offer a slower, Hatha-influenced flow with intentional sequencing and longer holds, giving students time to build awareness and move with clarity. In restorative sessions, I create a cocoon-like environment where students can settle deeply, release effort, and feel fully supported by props and grounding practices.
No matter the class style, my approach is rooted in accessibility and compassion. I believe there’s no such thing as a perfect pose—every shape can be adapted to meet each student exactly where they are. As long as you’re on your mat and breathing, you’re practicing yoga.
I look forward to practicing with you and offering space for rest, balance, grounding, and presence.
Namaste,
Britt

Vinyasa Yoga Teacher , RYT 200
I started teaching yoga because this practice saved me from myself — the stress, the overthinking, the push-harder-do-more version of me that forgot how to pause. Yoga taught me how to breathe, to soften without falling apart, and to take myself a lot less seriously. Now I teach to help others find that same freedom.
I guide vinyasa classes that are equal parts grounding and playful. Expect simple, thoughtful movement, clear cueing, and space to meet yourself exactly as you are — wobbles, laughter, big feelings, and all.
I’m currently working toward my 300-hour training at We Be Yoga School and teach weekly at Moksha Yoga & Embodiment Arts. If you show up with an open mind, I’ll meet you with a warm welcome, a supportive class, and a reminder that your body is wiser than your inner critic.

Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, Functional Strength Trainer . RYT 200
I discovered yoga at a transitional time in my life. I realized, as I neared retirement from a business I had built over my entire professional career, that I had deteriorated physically and did not have a clear second chapter in mind. There was new yoga studio that opened near my office, and I began taking classes. It started with two classes a week and quickly expanded to four to five classes a week. I was hooked and found my health improving dramatically. After four years I decided that yoga was going to be part of my next occupation. I joined a yoga teacher training class, graduated and began teaching. I have continued my yoga teacher training and added studies in personal training. I teach Vinyasa Yoga with a goal of building strength, increasing balance, improving flexibility with the eventual goal of gaining optimal body and mind function. Incorporating breath and body flow movement queuing in anatomically appropriate sequences makes my classes accessible to all yoga levels. I will offer the occasional themed based classes to further stimulate mind and spirit. Very special classes will include sound or music components. In addition to yoga, I teach strength training classes. These group classes are crafted to be anatomically correct with strictly timed periods of exercises and rests. The exercises can be weighed (dumbbells) or no weight at all. I instruct correct exercise posture, breath and movement throughout the workout session. In my classes, whether yoga or strength, I strive to foster a non-judgmental space that allows for student curiosity, self-acceptance and connection.

Yin Yoga Teacher, Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, RYT 200, Personal Trainer
I grew up being picked last for gym class. When I discovered a love for movement in my late teens, thanks to a VHS workout tape, I knew I wanted to pay it forward and help others experience how fun and accessible movement can be. I’ve been a fitness instructor and personal trainer for many years, but it wasn’t until my late 40s, in the midst of midlife stress and chaos, that I found Yin Yoga and felt the incredible sense of peace it brought me.
Wanting to share that experience with others, I completed a 30-hour Yin Yoga teacher training with Sally Miller, a 200-hour yoga teacher training with Yoga Renew, and I am currently working toward my 300-hour certification at We Be Yoga School. When I’m not on the mat, I work full-time in Regulatory Affairs, love reading personal development books, and enjoy spending time with my husband, our two teenage kids, and Stella, our Bernese Mountain dog.
